What Dr Laura is trying to say is that the biggest reward that you can possibly get is the feeling of choosing the right. For example if you see a homeless man and his shoes are ripped he barely has any food or water, and you look at yourself and you have 200 dollar Jordan's you eat expensive food and you are going to the store  with more money that you are going to need you could give the man some money. If you do that than you will feel good for the rest of the day but if you don't than you will feel guilty for a long time. Even if you don't get anything in return you should still give or help others because having the satisfaction of helping someone is better than feeling guilty for not being nice enough. Another example would be if you have a vacation and you are bored out of your mind then you can be productive and go help out a homeless shelter.You will get the satisfaction of have helped others. My point is it never hurts to help out once in awhile so do it it will feel good.

What theodore is trying to say is that no matter what situation you are in the best option is to choose the right for example if you are in a party and someone offers you drugs without thinking about it you say no. not only would you have damage your body by doing that but you will go against everything your parents have taught you. keep in mind that when that drug goes inside your body that would be like a hard slap to your moms face because you disrespected them and everything they have taught you. Another example would be if you are going to store and you have change, and a homeless man kindly ask you for spare change you could give him the money because if you already bought what you needed and you have spare change them it could be your random act of kindness. Giving that money is like giving a small chance to change even if it is a dollar or 50 cents no matter what you give him atleast you tried to help which is the most important thing when you do a random act of kindness. Choosing the right has always and will always be important because  no matter what you do you  can never be judge for choosing the wrong. That why you always have to choose the right without having to think it twice.
