AGAINST IT

 What MR. Penn is trying to say is that doing the right thing is always ok even no one likes it. And doing the wrong is never acceptable even if everyone is doing it. An example of the right even if everyone is against it is, if you are with your friends and someone takes out weed and everybody starts to smoke it you back away and leave because that is the right and if your friends are trying to convince you to stay and smoke you ignore them and leave. An example of the wrong is wrong even if everybody does it is still wrong. If a lot of people start doing drugs and drinking and smoking it does not make it right just because a lot of people are doing it so that is why it is always wrong to do the wrong but it is right to always do the right.   

       RIGHT

What Mr. Monson was trying to say is that if your friends offer you to do drugs, smoke weed, snort cocaine, or drink alcohol. You need to be brave and say no then walk away. If you were to take any of those things you would destroy your morals and disappoint your family and, you could get in a lot of trouble with the police and face a lot of time in prison, And for what just a little fun? Choosing to do the wrong is not worth it and it should never be one of your options. This quote is very important because Mr. Monson shows us that standing up for what is right, Is not a bad thing.
