This quote is a metaphor. This quote
is trying to say that you know how this world works and you cannot be fooled
anymore because a gullible person doesn’t last very long. An example of this quote
that happens a lot in a teenager’s life is when a teen goes to an unsupervised
party and there are alcohol bottles everywhere. But there is always that one
person that starts drinking and causes everybody to start drinking and
eventually the bottle comes to you and you know what the consequences are if
you pick up that bottle. But you decide to pick it up anyway at first you think
you are having fun but here comes the side effects of alcohol. You start
vomiting, getting dizzy, not knowing where you are and after all that you get
robbed. That is a good example because you knew what alcohol does to your body
but picked it up either way. Another example would be drugs you know what they
are but you still pick them up you don’t use them but sine you are in possession
of drugs it would be the same thing as if you are taking them and the worst
happens you get arrested by the police. You get 2 months in jail and a 10
thousand dollar fine so the moral of the story is if you know it’s dangerous don’t
get near it.
